Gift guide: Fragrance

Last week I talked about 5 Little Pick Me Ups. The little things to get back on top of life. But I didn’t mention candles & perfume. I’ve got into candles in a big way this year. I love how it can warm an atmosphere and a gentle scent can not only evoke but create memories – something that I am now working on with my young daughters. I also think they make the wonderful gifts. The same can be said for perfume. If I’m feeling everyday and ordinary, that’s usually when I spritz a bit of Chanel No.5. Gives me a little boost to know I’m wearing something special.

Last year, I discovered the amazing Cire Trudon candles and they are by far the most indulgent and precious candle I have ever purchased. It was expensive but totally worth it. I went for the Ebd al Kadar for it’s fresh basil and mint fragrance but for Christmas it has be all about citrus and spices. So here’s some ideas for scented gifts…
