Hair chat: Taking risks.

There’s something really exhilarating about make big changes and taking risks. Thinking about what can be gained by the venture and not about the loss of what you had. A little deep perhaps when referring to a hair cut but often a big image change can reflect how you’re feeling.

Last week I took a leap and risk by updating the blog. By no coincidence, in the same week I changed my hair. I’ve been talking about it for months and finally I had the courage to just do it. I knew it was a risk and that I could majorly regret it but there was also the chance that I’d love it.

Turns out I’m quite pleased with it really. Feels like a fresh new update and after all, it’ll grow back!

LOVE your new do Laura! If (and I say a big IF) I had the courage to go for the chop, thats exactly how I would have it. Except for me it would mean straightening it every day which my hair can no longer take! It really suits you! A xx

Thanks Lisa. The lovely sunshine jumper is from Topshop. I bought at the end of last summer. I’ve had a quick look online for you and they don’t seem to have it in stock any more but it’s a great one for brightening up these dreary days! x

Thank you lovely Jo! It’s amazing how your hair can affect you, definitely. Loving how easy is it to just “wash & go” (well kind of!) too xx

Wow Laura your hair looks absolutely amazing – I LOVE it! I’m currently thinking of having a heavy fringe cut in….not quite as drastic I know but still a change & considering I’ve got a photo shoot a couple of days after my next hair appointment it could be a disaster!! Still I’ve got a week left to think about it some more!! Well done for taking the plunge :-) Jane xx

Thank you Jane. A heavy fringe is another one of those big leaps isn’t it?! I reckon you’ll feel modernised and refreshed though. Photo shoot? How exciting…have fun! xx

Thanks Sally. With a distinct lack of sunshine, I thought I needed to find it some how! Red lippy is always a mood booster too xx
