I made a promise to myself last year that I was going to start taking more care of my skin. It was definitely time to step up my skin care routine and invest in some really good products.
Then along came Emma. Emma approached me to ask if I would like a demonstration of her NU Skin ageLOC Galvanic Spa System in exchange for a blog post. A non-surgical, pain free procedure that was going to leave my skin feeling (and looking) more radiant and youthful. Yes, think I may have heard that before?!? Although a little dubious, I was willing to give it a go.
So what is it?
An anti-ageing procedure that targets the source of ageing deep within your skin layers to rejuvenate your complexion.
Well firstly, my make up is removed and Emma applies the Pre-Treatment gel. This allows the pores to soften and relax. Emma then uses the small hand held, electromagnetic galvanic spa system (face conductor) to move the gel into my skin in small, smooth circles. Very relaxing actually.
Then the ‘main show’ happens, using the Treatment Gel. The gel is applied in the same way, evenly across the skin. Then using the spa system face conductor it targets the source of ageing, deep within your skin layers by sending galvanic currents.
It is this current that stimulates the skin cells to preserve the look of youth and minimise the look of ageing. Easy. There is a lot more science behind this that I wouldn’t dare go into myself – far from qualified! But Emma would be delighted to give you more information, you can contact her here on her Facebook page.
I have to say, I couldn’t see or feel any results immediately. However, within a couple of hours I felt a huge difference. My skin felt different. Most definitely firmer and brighter.
The NU SKin Galvanic Spa System has recently been featured in Hello Magazine’s 6 of the best wrinkle-busting creams alongside the likes of Creme de la Mer Treatment Lotion and YSL Forever Light Corrective serum.
I loved being given the opportunity to try a revolutionary skin regenerating system – a real treat and to have actual results was fantastic.
Have a great weekend and apologies for a picture with no make-up!
