One Baukjen Jacket, two statement skirts.
Last month when I visited Baukjen HQ with Amanda, from The Online Stylist I made sure I had a good touch and feel of everything. It was all so lovely and summery and the effortlessly cool and chic signature style of the collection just dripped from the rails.
The Baukjen Summer collection is just gorgeous and this Madrid blazer stood out a mile so when Suzi at Baukjen said I could borrow it I practically bit off her hand.
I’ve been dying to try a statement skirt this season so with an upcoming wedding to go to it was the perfect chance to put it to the test for outfit options.

I have to say that I had high hopes for this Coast skirt but after carefully sporting it for this post, it has swiftly been returned. The length was just slightly too short so when I wore it for these photos I just felt a bit frumpy. Having said that, I loved the shape. That fact that it was high waisted and had layers of netting underneath made it feel quite special but just not right for me.
