There’s something really exhilarating about make big changes and taking risks. Thinking about what can be gained by the venture and not about the loss of what you had. A little deep perhaps when referring to a hair cut but often a big image change can reflect how you’re feeling.

Last week I took a leap and risk by updating the blog. By no coincidence, in the same week I changed my hair. I’ve been talking about it for months and finally I had the courage to just do it. I knew it was a risk and that I could majorly regret it but there was also the chance that I’d love it.

Turns out I’m quite pleased with it really. Feels like a fresh new update and after all, it’ll grow back!

I swore I wouldn’t feature a Valentines themed post, it’s just not my thing. But old fashioned traditions are.

Being cocooned in the digital world of social media for most of my waking hours, it’s a welcome escape to retreat an old fashioned note book and pen every now and then. It’s so easy to ping an email or send a text but to receive a handwritten note from a loved one is something to be treasured.
